Town Hall on Remote Learning
for Parents and Guardians of Westchester Students
Thank you for your interest in this virtual Town Hall event from Westchester Children's Association and Family Ties of Westchester on Wednesday, October 14th via ZOOM from 5-6:00 pm. Free admission with registration. Zoom link will be provided prior to the event.
Remote learning has created new challenges for parents and guardians, bringing a need for new forms of support. This interactive event is a platform for parents and guardians to share experiences and channel their voices on how remote learning has impacted their day-to-day life.
Topics covered include but are not limited to:
- Your child's emotional well-being and academic experience, including technology access and learning supports;
- Remote learning challenges for parents/guardians and their children related to parenting responsibilities, family dynamics, and work-life balance.
Speak directly with NYS Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Senator & Education Committee Chair Shelley Mayer, and other leaders on how they can help in Westchester.
