New York remains one of two states that automatically prosecutes all 16- and 17-year-olds as adults regardless of the crime.
Join advocates and young adults from across the state to meet with elected officials in Albany to lobby for passage of Raise the Age legislation in 2017.
There are two buses from Westchester. One bus will leave from First Baptist Church of White Plains at 7:00 a.m. and return at approximately 6:30 p.m. Free all day parking is available at the church. A second bus will leave from New Rochelle High School at 6:30 a.m. and return at approximately 7:00 p.m.
When registering, please select the bus you will travel on to Albany. Lunch and bus snacks will be provided.
