Project Engage empowers Sleepy Hollow high school students

Project 2020 has evolved to become "Project Engage!" Recent workshops led by WCA encouraged over 120 high school students from Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown to be civically engaged and involved in progress in their communities.

Jasmine Drew reflects on her MSW Internship

Jasmine Drew shared her evolution from a quiet, observant master's student in social work from New York University (NYU) to a more confident leader ready to encourage young people to get involved in macro-level work through our Project Engage.

WCA invited to participate in "Separate and Unequal" podcast

Michael Randall of the  Fellowship between Bronxville High School, Mount Vernon High School, Yonkers Public Schools, and Sarah Lawrence College invited our executive director, Allison Lake, along with teachers from Mount Vernon and Yonkers to participate in a series of interviews about their investigation into the school-to-prison pipeline along with teachers from Mount Vernon and Yonkers. They graciously shared their podcast with us.
